Things You and I Must Do In London In The Build Up To Christmas 2017

I’ve been in London for a few years and would now consider myself a seasoned resident of this wonderful city. In this time, I’ve experienced a few Christmas’s. London has so many interesting things happening in the build-up to Christmas.

I want to take this as an opportunity to list a few places to go to this coming Christmas season in London.

Winter Wonderland

No Christmas to do list goes without mentioning Winter Wonderland. It has rides for children and grown-ups. You can take you first date there. You can go with friends. Go with your family. You can be a tourist from China and still enjoy it.

There’s no shortage of fun Christmassy things at WW. Beers. Mulled Wine. Candy floss. Rides (did I mention that already :-))? Events. Music. You can never go wrong go wrong with Winter Wonderland.

The Winter Wonderland will open gates at Hyde Park from 17th November. Find out more here

The Southbank Christmas Market

Southbank Winter Market

The Southbank is one of my fave locations in London in the summer. But, it’s also as vibrant in the winter. I love taking a stroll down the Southbank Christmas market. There’s so much to. You can stop off and grab a craft ale and walk onĀ soaking in the nice views of London.

The Soutbank Christmas market will open up from 10th November. Learn more here.

Exclusive Christmas Film Viewings

There’s nothing like a good Christmas movie to get you in the mood for the holiday seasons. Whether your preference is Home Alone, Die Hard or Jingle All The Way, Timeout and Lost Rivers Elephants have list of screenings. Find out more here on the Timeout London

Ice Skating at Somerset House

I have nothing but great memories when going ice skating at Somerset House. I went there three times last year. It did help that I was dating a cute guy who worked there.

I couldn’t recommend Somerset House enough. The lights and wine. Make sure you don’t get yourself injured.

I also want to check the Skylight, which from 2nd November is turning into London’s first roof top ice rink.
